GSF Grand Banks Arrives In NS
The Transocean-owned semisubmersible drilling rig, GSF Grand Banks arrived in Halifax Harbour on Sunday December 11 for maintenance and repairs. East Coast Catering has provided catering and housekeeping services on board the rig since June 2008. ECC will continue to provide catering and housekeeping services on board through its Nova Scotia office while the rig is undergoing this work.
The GSF Grand Banks has been most recently working for Husky Energy offshore Newfoundland and Labrador. The rig is expected to return to operations for Husky after completion of work in the shipyard.
