Sable Project Achieves Five Years of Operations With No Lost Time Incidents
On Thursday April 24, 2008, the Sable Operations team recognized five years working offshore without a Lost Time Incident. Sable Asset Manager Mike Honderich thanked all of the contractors who helped to make this achievement possible at a barbecue at the Sable logistics yard in Dartmouth, NS. Mr. Honderich said that within ExxonMobil, the success of Sable in SHE performance is held up as a shining light which all offshore operations should strive to match. This level of performance has been noted at the highest executive levels of the company. Mr. Honderich stated that this milestone could not have been achieved without the hard work and dedication of the Sable contractors.
East Coast Catering Limited was represented at this event by Adam Gibson, Operations Coordinator - Nova Scotia. ECC has provided service to the Sable offshore facilities for almost three years and is proud to have participated in making this achievement possible. ECC will continue to strive to uphold this level of SHE performance on the Sable installations and all of our job sites. We look forward to working with ExxonMobil to realize the goal of "Best Ever Safety" every year.
