ECC commences service on Henry Goodrich
Mr. Patrick O’Callaghan, President & CEO of East Coast Catering Limited is pleased to announce that the company has commenced full catering and housekeeping services onboard the semi-submersible drill rig Henry Goodrich effective July 15, 2008. The company was awarded a multi-year contract by Transocean Offshore Canada Services Ltd. in May.
ECC has mobilized a team to the US Gulf of Mexico to provide catering and housekeeping services on the rig as it is towed back to the Grand Banks. The rig is expected to commence drilling operations offshore Newfoundland and Labrador in August under a rig-sharing agreement between StatoilHydro, Petro-Canada and Husky Energy.
Transocean is the world's largest offshore drilling contractor.
