Pat O’Callaghan named President of Cabot Club for 2008
Mr. Patrick O’Callaghan, President & CEO of East Coast Catering Limited is being honoured this year as the incoming president of the Cabot Club at The Fairmont Newfoundland. Pat was the first general manager of the hotel when it was opened in 1982, so he was selected as president for this year, the 25th Jubilee of the Cabot Club as a premiere fine dining establishment, and the 20th anniversary of the Cabot Club Galas.
The Galas have served to commemorate important themes from the pages of Newfoundland and Labrador’s history. From saluting individual achievements and industry advancements to honouring elements of our province’s rich heritage, the Galas have become notable annual events.
The annual Cabot Club Dinner is being held on February 29, 2008. Special guests will include the immediate Past President, General R.J. (Rick) Hillier, and many other past presidents from the past 20 years.
